Enzo and I have been wanting to go to this churros cafe place in Intramuros, but before indulging ourselves with dessert, lunch should come first! And that was how we landed in Barbara's where the spontaneous lunch buffet for the day happened. Haha! ☺

I was raiding my wallet to dispose some receipts when I found this little thing here. It's a small Buddha souvenir that our cab driver, Mr. Jumbo (who's a very nice and funny guy by the way), gave me when my family and I when to Bangkok last December. He said it was for good luck and I've kept it since then. ☺

My very first disposable film camera from Ate Ann (Enzo's sister)! It has 24 shots and I used 2 yesterday. Twenty-two remaining shots before the film expires on December! I wonder how the shots will look like. Exciting! ☺

Day 113/366: Hanging Flower

If you'll ask me what I want for my birthday, the answer's simple. I don't need any fancy gifts or even bouquets of flowers, so just don't get me anything. I'm pretty much contented with what I have! I have more than what I actually need, but if God will continue to shower me more blessings, I'd willingly accept them all! 

P.S. This day is the greatest day of my 2012 so far! Thanks to Enzo for bringing me all the way to Tagaytay for my birthday adventure. A memorable day indeed! ☺☺☺ 

Binondo Adventure

Exposing yourself under the scorching heat of sun is very suicidal these days especially when you're not on the beach, but the 36°C temperature in Manila didn't stop me and Enzo from conquering the little Chinatown in Binondo! Awesome foodtrip experience! We'll definitely go back soon! ☺

Day 95/366: Tuyo and Scrambled Egg

Back in Manila, it's either the microwave does the work of reheating the food for me, or sometimes, I just eat out. What I love about staying at home in the province is that I get to eat home-cooked food straight from the pan! Since it's holy week and one little sacrifice that I could do is to give up meat for a while., eating tuyo and scrambled egg with tomatoes and onions would be the best alternative! And yes, I ate those for dinner. ☺

Worst Feeling

All-Time Favorite Snack

Day 93/366: Combos

Have you ever wondered why Combos are shaped like cylindrical tubes? I've been thinking of a good answer and what I thought of won't probably be the best one yet. Just a random and harmless guess! Since the tubes are made up of hard cracker, it's much more exciting to break the walls of the tubes to extract the filing, adding to the joyful experience of munching on something crispy. I personally crack the walls first and save the cheese! Haha! Save the best for last, as other people say. ☺

Dimsum Overload

Day 92/366: Xin Tian Di

I've tried several buffets before - A fusion of international cuisines, Filipino, Japanese, and today, I've added something new on the list: A Chinese dimsum buffet! It was indeed a hearty lunch with Enzo and his sister, Tikay. ☺

So the next time that you crave for something Chinese, I suggest that you go to Xin Tian Di at Crowne Plaza for a good dimsum buffet experience and make sure to cross out every entry in their dimsum list!
