Enzo and I went to Binondo for the second time, not to go resto-hopping like what we did last time, but to particularly visit Wai Ying! Must-order dishes: Pork siomai, hakaw, spareribs, and radish cake.

When you're alone at home and you've got nothing to do, cook away! I haven't done some real cooking (real cooking can be defined as frying too these days - haha!) for a long time. Glad that I finally gave myself a chance in the kitchen today.

My friend, Karen, and I went to Mabini, Batangas today to meet up with my best friend before she leaves for New Zealand. We stayed by the beach still hoping to catch the sunset even though the sky was gloomy almost the whole afternoon. Sadly, we didn't see any orange sky. However, I did manage to catch this magnificent view of the calm sea.

There was no sunset, but there was stillness. The sea was at peace.

Little Tokyo in the Middle of Makati

Two weeks ago, Enzo and I have conquered the little Chinatown in Manila. This time, we've conquered little Tokyo! It's a unique experience of appreciating Japanese cuisine since you're not limited with just one restaurant. You could actually go resto-hopping to try out the signature dishes of each place. ☺

Fail birthday candles! They melted before he even got to blow them out. But still, seeing that wide smile on his face upon seeing his caramel-flavored cake makes walking from EGI to Becky's Kitchen and back worth it.

The sky was unusually clean orange earlier this evening (though the photo taken by my camera phone didn't do that much justice with the color). It's as if you're looking at a clean dull orange ceiling that envelopes the whole sky. What an odd sight!

I went to my lolo's house in Lipa and when I got there, my little cousin was holding a little green chick. He was playing with it the whole time and was trying to make it sit and sleep by force! Poor chick, I bet being a pet was the last thing that it ever wanted to be. Haha!
