I love everything about Lenovo's IdeaPad U400 except that it doesn't have a built-in memory card reader! Imagine the hassle of looking for a USB cable or an external memory card reader whenever you want to copy or transfer photos. Sorry for ranting! Haha!

Not Getting Younger Anymore

I can't believe how cute my brother was when he was still a kid! Of course, I'm kidding. This old photo was taken more than ten years ago during New Year. Seeing this photo brought back lots of simple childhood memories. It's amazing how much time has passed by.

I'm all grown up now and I can't escape the fact that I'm not getting younger anymore.

Nic, Keith and I had our quick thesis meeting at Holly's Cafe since the school's closed today. Believe it or not, I live in EGI (just a few minutes walk away from Holly's Cafe) and it's only the second time that I've ever set foot inside this coffee shop. I love their "UFO beeper" by the way. ☺

Day 54/366: Rice Crackers

At some point in your life, did you get addicted with rice crackers that you just felt like you can't get enough of them? Well, I did! Seeing this pile of rice crackers makes me feel like a kiddo again who's excited to open his o her pack of crackers and sink those little teeth into those crunchy delights. I miss those times! ☺

Tea Stack time! I've discovered a good milk tea drink near Agno. I just tried it now although it opened about a year ago, I think? (OJT made me miss a lot of things, you know.) They have the cocoa rocksalt and cheese  drink which I always crave for whenever I think of Happy Lemon. Tea Stack's own blend is a good alternative! ☺

Day 51/366: The Tree

Time can bring a lot of changes - changes which are inevitable, no matter how much we like it or not. Flowers may lose their petals through time. Leaves may loose their color and eventually turn dry and brittle. Trees may be in full bloom today, yet may grow bald the next day. But there's no use in escaping from these changes because this is reality. For every single thing that we lose, another blessing springs out from within - just like the new leaves struggling to come out of the dry branches of a tree which we once thought of being lifeless and useless.

Day 50/366: Chicharon

Chicharon is a basically dish made of fried pork rinds. It may look unattractive, but for some it's sinfully good! How can you even say "No" to chicharon paired with vinegar?

Day 48/366: Univweek with blockmates

It's supposedly our last Univweek in school as students, but most of our blockmates are busy with thesis and couldn't hang out in school to watch the Univweek celebration in Amphitheater, so we just had a group photo taken for remembrance. Animo La Salle! ☺

Day 47/366: Red Velvet Cupcake

It's our school's university week and what's a Univweek without the food bazaar? Cupcakes are really in demand these days (especially the red velvet ones), so when I visited the food stalls, I specifically looked for red velvet cupcakes. Right in the middle of the group of stalls, I found this cute little heart-shaped cupcake and bought one for myself! ☺

Day 46/366: Valentine's Dinner at Romulo Café

Most of the couples had their Valentine's dinner date yesterday, but Enzo and I had ours the day after Valentine's! ☺ Filipino food at its best - We loved everything about what we ordered. Plus, the place is really nice. This won't definitely be the last time that we'll be visiting Romulo Cafe. 

Chemistry

Day 45/366: Valentine's Day

Someone asked me a question before: "How do you know if you've already found the right one?" I just smiled and said, "Chemistry."

Others may find it too plain or cheesy; others may not get it at all. But for me, it's just as simple as that. There's no need to look for signs. I didn't take some time to listen if there was any melodious music playing in the background. Counting the butterflies fluttering inside my stomach didn't cross my mind either. None of those really mattered to me. I just felt that we clicked together.. and the rest is history. ☺

Day 44/366: Ritter Sport Strawberry Yogurt Chocolate

By looking at the flavor on the wrapper, you'd probably be curious about the taste. Just imagine, it's three of my most favorite things combined together - chocolate, strawberry, and yogurt! It's chocolate-y, yet contrasted with the sour flavor of the yogurt. Adding to the texture of the chocolate is the crunchiness of the strawberry flakes. Definitely a must-try for all the strawberry yogurt + chocolate fans out there. ☺

Fly Freely, Soar Up High!

Day 43/366: Hot Air Balloons

It's a perfect day to watch the hot air balloons rise from the ground and fill up the clear morning sky. I wonder what it feels like to soar up that high?

I'm going to ride a hot air balloon someday and be able cross out one entry on my bucket list. I promise.

Working Together

Photoshoot for our online shop today! We had the chance to work with three pretty girls and two funny cameramen. The two hours of bonding experience that we had was definitely worth it!

You're probably guessing what's in between those layers of bread. Well the sandwich is basically comprised of (1) of course, bread (2) creamy peanut butter spread evenly (3) yummy banana and (4) the all-time favorite bacon.

Yes, you read it right. Bacon. You're probably raising your left/right eyebrow at this moment while thinking that it's a very unusual combination, but trust me on this one! Go straight to the nearest PBCo. branch and sink your teeth into this tasty sandwich and you'll find yourself wanting more. ☺

Enzo and I took a break from work/school works for a few hours. And believe me, it felt more than enough. Indulging ourselves in a dinner buffet on a Wednesday night was definitely a good idea to relieve our stress and celebrate our sixteenth month. ♥

P.S. His eyes will forever be 1/3 of mine. There's no doubt about that.
